Welcome to our B&B at La Charpenterie
La Charpenterie consists of 4 individual, characterful houses located around a 19th century “Longere”. Each with comfort and their own garden to assure your privacy. There are also 2 wood-burned hot-tubs on the property.
A calm setting
We are located at the center of La Manche, a green and calm region in Normandy. Absolute silence is inevitable here!
About La Charpenterie
La Charpenterie consists of an original 19th-century ‘Longère’ an elongated farm with authentic outbuildings on a sloping terrain of 15 ha.
Henry (1 double bed + 2 extra places)
Biggest of the 4 houses, is a converted stable. Wood stove, complete kitchen, and sofa-bed downstairs. Mezzanine with a double bed and a characterful bathroom on the first floor. Outside is a large terras and a wood-heated hot-tub.
Anna (1 divisible double bed)
Smallest of the 4 houses, is a converted bread-oven.
Downstairs there is a kitchenette, a very cozy wood stove, and a shower. There is a tilting ladder to go to the first floor, where you can find 1 divisible double bed.
The toilet is installed in the original fireplace of the bread-oven.
Gerald (1 divisible double bed + 2 extra places)
Middle sized-house is a converted milking-stable. No more cows here, but a complete kitchen and living room with a wood-stove downstairs. The first floor is equipped with 1 divisible double bed and a luxurious bathroom. Outside you have your own private garden, with a terrace and a nice view over the valley.
Hot-tub is available.
Linda (1 divisible double bed + 1 extra place)
Characterful kitchenette with original fire-place and wood burner downstairs. On the first floor, you have the bathroom with shower and 1 lit divisible double bed. The only thing you will hear is a small stream at 25m away!
Hot-tub is available.
